Apology versus repentence: the act of doing versus the state of being

With the Truth, we don't need to do anything. While tyranny will expect an apology from us by way of taxes paid for the penalties that we will continue commiting forever, the Truth requires nothing in return other than for us to acknowledge that we are all, as fallable human beings, created equal.
