Got this from my meetup:

Please take 60 seconds to read this and hear me out.

I am trying to gather a list of 2,500 Power Supporters at www.
RonPaulSupport.com to donate $100 to Ron Paul this Friday the
12th, and another $100 every Friday after until the end of the
last quarter before the primaries on December 31st giving Ron
Paul a weekly boost of a 250,000.00!

I realize $100 a week isn't chump-change and most of the 2,500
signers will have to make sacrifices, work more hours, etc., to
pull this off, but I have faith that there are 2,500 like
minded people out there who would consider a two month hardship
a small price to pay for Freedom.

At first I thought with Ron Paul's current 30,022 YouTube
subscribers, 51,699 Meetup members, and 67,029 Myspace friends,
our goal of 2,500 Power Supporters would be easily achievable,
but after spending all day Saturday and Sunday e-mailing over
nine thousand Ron Paul supporters, and the website getting over
3,000+ views (as of Sunday night), only 9 additional people
have added their names. That's 1 every 300 visits.....

So I'm e-mailing you, a Meetup organizer because you have
already done more for Ron Paul than just say you would vote for
him. I am sending this e-mail to all 975 Meetup group
organizers asking if you would be able to please find 3 people
willing to commit a $100 a week as a Power Supporter for Ron
Paul at www.RonPaulSupport.com? To make this happen, maybe
send an e-mail out to your Meetup group asking for 3 people (or
just 2 if you're able to join) to please step forward and add
their name as a Power Supporter on www.RonPaulSupport.com, and
then let you know that they did?

Imagine the magnitude of us achieving this. Our 2,500 Power
Supporters would have single-handedly made history by giving
Ron Paul a weekly QUARTER MILLION, and a total THREE MILLION
dollar boost! That would be over HALF of his whole 5,080,000
received in the 3rd quarter from 120,000+ donors.

Sincerely,
Caleb Bailey

I can't commit to $400 per month, but I WILL commit to $200 per month.

Everyone should commit to whatever amount they can per week, and then just donate it! Forget about signing pledges. Just DO it!

Ah, what the hell. $100/week is usually what I spend at the bars on weekends. I get nothing but a hangover out of it lately, mind as well give it to the campaign. I'll chock it up to trying to be more healthy. Besides, they're just FRN's people!!!

Count me in!

I can't commit to $400 per month, but I WILL commit to $200 per month.

That is still pretty awesome.

you know - I recently got an invitation to listen to Dr. Paul speak in a private intimate environment - the only catch was that I had to pay $1,000 to do so.

The problem is I'm maxed out.

It's DirectTV all over again. After upgrading to Hi Def at full price, I get all kinds of great deals upgrading cheaply.

And now, I can't me a Power Supporter either.

the moral of my story - The early bird gets the shaft!

They updated the site.

You can pledge and choose "$100/wk" or "whatever I can per week" or "I've max out"

I'll probably max out 12+ weeks into this, unless Ron Paul comes back to South Florida and does another fund raiser, then I'll max out sooner.

Contact the campaign; they will likely make an exception for the next private event.

The S. FL fund raiser allowed maxed out people to attend, even they weren't donating to that specific event.

Spoke to Caleb,

The Power Supporter is not necessarily someone who's giving $100/wk, but just someone who pledges to give something every friday.

Please pledge to be a Power Supporter and donate something, WHATEVER you can, every Friday.

Be one of the 2500 Power Supporters!

Let's be one of the 2500 that cause a LIBERTY BUMP every Friday!!!

It's Friday, it's pay day it's Liberty Bump day!

Alright Power Supporters! Today is the day! Give to the campaign and let's create a nice spike for the week.

We have 44 people signed up to be a power supporter, let's keep it going! And sign up to show your support.

(I forgot my wallet so I will be donating when I got home from work).

I am surprised that the donation form does not have away to set up automated contributions, weekly, monthly or whatever.

Just like a gym membership.
