A supporter sent her the biblical passage Isaiah 49:16: “See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.”

“If what was good enough for God, scribbling on the palm of his hand, it’s good enough for me, for us,” Palin said. “In that passage he says, I wrote your name on the palm of my hand to remember you. And I’m like okay, I’m in good company.

"palm" looks sorta like as if "palin" is humbly without the small "I" dotted...

"If what was good enough for God, scribbling on the palm of his hand,
it's good enough for me, for us," Palin said.

Does Sarah Palin need to write notes on her hand to remind herself of these 3 things ? . . . really ?

- Energy
- Tax Cuts
- Lifting America Spirit

Imagine Ron Paul in a direct debate with Palin . . . LOL

....doesn't understand the difference between literal and figurative literary references. does God have a real hand? if he does, does he have billions of names written on it? indeed if so, these are important things like names, not the grocery list or talking points.

sorry, Sarah, it doesn't wash, you're just making excuses.

it reminds me of another account of a woman that made the statement "if English was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for me" - shows just about the same amount of understanding.

(for those of you that may not know, English wasn't Jesus' primary or secondary language)
