If Rand is well ahead he should hold a press conference calling for an end to the negative ads and take the moral high ground.... put some pressure on Grayson

If Rand is well ahead . . .
he should hold a press conference . . . put some pressure on Grayson

If Rand is well ahead . . .

we need to get it out into national media and press as well.

Getting invited to a Morning Joe MSNBC interview, etc. on Monday or any day this upcoming week . . .
would put a spotlight on this and all races, with any national implications that this is now starting up BIG -
and gets Kentucky to realize hey, we ARE going to be heard with Rand Paul in office.

That kind of pressure would start Grayson to fold . . . and set the stage for SRLC too.

According the www.bluegrassbulletin.com, it will be from Survey USA.

Rumor has it that the Survey USA poll is due to come out any day now. When it does, it might be decision day for Trey Grayson. The latest Rasmussen poll shows Rand Paul with high favorables and doing well against the democrats. But Rasmussen didn't poll Grayson, Paul and Johnson head to head. The new poll will.

It's SurveyUSA, sponsored by Courier-Journal and WHAS11.

Seems like there have been a lot of polls on this race. Especially with CJ involved, I think it's because they want the polls to say something other than what they have almost exclusively said ... RAND PAUL WINS!!!!:D

The truth is, guys, we don't want Grayson dropping out. Grayson dropping out shakes up the race, changes the variables, and makes Johnson the "other guy". Rand could be re-cast as the establishment candidate with Johnson as the tea-partier. I doubt that, but the dynamics we have right now are GOOD. With Grayson in the race we are 100% in control. Just let his negatives keep sinking, and our positives rise. We can keep hammering on him--our 21% lead is great.

:D

After the poll comes out with bad news for Johnson and Paul ahead, I full expect "mommy" to quickly post yet five more blog entries about how Paul is not really pro-life enough for her and then a Johnson campaign press release that says the poll is BS and a new internal poll from Johnson's campaign shows him in first place.

Not JUST first place--FIRST PLATINUM PLACE. Hell, he might just claim to have already won the election (channeling Pluschenko from these last Olympics).

My prediction is Rand Paul is beating Grayson by 19%, Johnson scores only 1-2%.

"Rand Paul has earned a lot of credibility on the issues Kentuckians care about like a balanced federal budget, term limits, strong national defense and following the U.S. Constitution. The Tea Party movement has clearly gotten the attention of Kentucky Republicans.”

David Adams, campaign manager
Rand Paul for U.S. Senate

David you need to be like Nick Saban when people get excited about one poll. It's like winning one game in an 11 game season:
YouTube - Saban gets irritated (or "pissed") (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRDl1dsMA3A)
