The disgruntled pale male

I was struck, as I drove around Tennessee and Arkansas last week, at how disgruntled the pale males were. Even those who said they sometimes or usually voted Democratic in Congressional elections were leaning towards pulling the lever for a Republican. It wasn’t that they were in love with the GOP; merely that they were fed up with the party in power.
