Apparently talk show host and uber-conservative Bill Bennett has just arrived home from an International Conference (?) held in Venice. Today on his radio show he says that some of the speakers were Henry Kissinger, the CFR guy (Haas?), and others, including himself. He was there to defend our wonderful American values of pre-emptive war, no doubt. Apparently over in Europe there is a good amount of animosity toward America.

Curious to see what the conference was all about, I went and Googled Bill Bennett Venice International Conference and this is what came up:

Thursday, October 4, 2007
Arrivederci, Bill and Elayne, off to an international conference in Venice to present and defend the values we hold dear! With best wishes and love from your many fans in the Saturday Morning in America Club! xo xo xo

HOWEVER, it was cached. It is no longer on the page.

Does anyone else know anything about this "conference?"
