Local news here in Shreveport, LA covers this race because northeast TX is part of the viewing area, and they were discussing these "non-binding" propositions on the Repub. ballots to gauge party direction. They said these props may have drawn a lot of social cons and evangelicals to vote. They included props that demand public acknowledgement of god, showing sonograms to abortion recipients, and showing an ID to vote. All of these, along with cutting Fed taxes and control, got around 95% YES. Anyone know more about these props?
BTW, I just watched Perry's victory speech on CSPAN... am I the only one reminded of Josh Brolin in the W. movie? What an act..
