Just watched this move...

All I can say is...

EPIC

This is a must watch IMO for anyone that is a part of our movement!

Journalists with a liberty and constitutional oriented conscience risk their lives, jobs, careers and future in order to stand up for what they knew was RIGHT.

One thing I found myself thinking over and over again (as I seem to find myself saying more and more these days) was "wow, history sure does repeat itself".

Yes.

IMO McCarthy is the equivalent to the neocons that want national ID cards, indefinite detention, warrantless wiretapping etc

I agree, but he was an inside man telling the truth but never meant to truly expose the conspiracy... ala Glenn Beck or as been shown about Ratigan today... you have to throw in some truth to then steer the animal into whichever direction you want... :(

The movie was directed by Clooney BTW, so take it for what it's worth...

The movie was directed by Clooney BTW, so take it for what it's worth...

I meant to mention that as well, after seeing Syriana and now this movie I have to wonder if Clooney is a Ron Paul supporter like Chuck Norris and Vince Vaughn.

I kind of see him closer to Soderbergh rather than those other guys... he's a leftist who we could probably agree on foreign policy on though... the rest of it, I'm not so sure about but could be wrong...

I still have to see it for myself, but I've read about...

Sofia makes a lot of BS statements in that thread, ie: McCarthy was very careful to make sure he had "hard evidence" before accusing anyone.... :rolleyes:

Note the RP video in that thread that talks about how socialists could live voluntarily in their own little communes if they wanted to. That seems like a good solution to me.

The fear-mongering scare tactics and the "you're with us or with the enemy" bullshit is the polar opposite of the intelligent liberty minded individual imo.
