David P. Simpson, a liberty candidate, 2008 Ron Paul supporter, and a good friend of Debra Medina, is currently beating the incumbent Republican Tommy Merrit 53.33% to 46.67% for District 7, Texas House of Representatives.

Here is David's website http://www.simpsonfortexas.net/index.php

The liberty movement is alive and well in Texas. Two years ago David ran and lost barely for SREC (TXGOP Executive Board) and now two years later he has beaten a sitting state rep in a primary.

Friggin Awesome.

Simpson for TX 14 when Ron retires and Medina for Senator :-)

either way I think the legacy will continue, which is great news.
