My wife and I were the ones there. We voted me precinct convention chair and her secretary. I'll be at the county convention on 03/20/10 voting with the strength of 7 delegates.

we had only 5 people show at our convention. Out of a total of 19 potential delegates, we only have 5. At least I get to be one.

The voting strength 19 delegates will be divided among the five of you. The voting strength of your precinct stays at 19.

I was the only one there so I've got a voting strength of 8 and all 6 of the Medina resolutions are being submitted.

:D

My dh would have gone with me but he can't attend the county convention so he stayed home.

ugh I forgot to ask about this Precinct thing when I voted earlier..

I should have gone back and checked.. Would I even have been able to do anything? I'm 18..

Now I'm having some regret about not going back to check this out... :(

I voted it's just I forgot to stay and ask if they were having this precinct convention thing after the polls close.. I got a phone call right when I finished voting and I ended up walking all the way back home before I realized I forgot to stay and ask the people running the poll about it.

The process depends upon your state. Contact your county's Republican party HQ and they will walk you through the process.

Previously, in 2008, I was elected as Precinct Chair.
This year I ran for County Chair and was elected! :)

For this election cycle, I taught a class on Precinct Conventions
to a group of like-minded Constitutionalists.
Some in this group were the only one to attend their Precinct Convention.
All were elected as delegates to the County Convention.
Several were elected to serve as Precinct Chairs for the next 2 years.
On the County Executive Committee, I will be filling the vacant Precinct Chairs
with pro-Constitution people.
I don't have all of the numbers yet, but we are pretty close to having
a voting majority at the County Convention! :):)

Ron Paul provided the spark, Debra Medina fanned the flames, and now we
have a bonfire of liberty and freedom burning in my county.
I have noticed lately that there is a LOT of dry tinder around.
Get ready, we're about to become a forest fire! :):):)

Be the ember! Spread the flame of liberty and freedom!

Yes Freedom which county?

I am the Robertson County Republican Party Chairman. And I still believe we have a guy that is the Hays County Chairman as well.

31 delegates - Only nine of us showed up.

I had a bit of a scuff discussing some resolutions -- Can you imagine Republicans not wanting to "Work to eliminating property taxes". Well we had some. WE have a LONG way to go. Grr!
