Oh yeah I forgot Ron had a primary today lol.

It was funny reading all those media "reports" of the Tea Party "challenging" RP for his seat. Yeah right.

I don't think we should be posting anything with 3/271 precincts reporting...

Please tell me that is a joke.

You can usually predict the results with only 1% reporting.

Just think...most pre-election polls are based off of far less than 1%, and they are usually accurate.

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul Sweeps To Easy Victory In GOP Primary

Julian Cavazos Originally published March 2, 2010 at 11:15 p.m., updated March 2, 2010 at 11:25 p.m.

Ron Paul is one step closer to doing it again.

Paul, who has represented District 14 since 1997, won the Republic nomination Tuesday with 42,645 votes by 10:50 p.m.

"He's very honored to win with 80 percent," said Jesse Benton, Paul's campaign spokesman. "He is very eager to serve the Republican Party and the people of the 14th district of Texas for another term."

Paul's Republican opponents included Tim Graney, a Katy business owner; Gerald Wall, a Brazoria supervisor; and John Gay, a Dickinson purchasing administrator.

The November challenger to longtime Congressman Ron Paul for the U.S. District 14 seat will have to wait for a runoff next month that likely will include the Galena Park police chief who lives in Brazoria.

The winner of the April 13 runoff will face Republican incumbent Paul, of Lake Jackson.

Paul had a commanding lead in the race for the Republican nomination late Tuesday with 37,741 votes, or 80.6 percent. Brazoria petrochemical worker Gerald Wall had 1,969 votes, or 4.2 percent; Katy business owner Tim Graney had 4,743 votes, or 10.1 percent; and Galveston County school district administrator John Gay had 2,362 votes, or 5 percent.

The votes are based on 223 voting precincts reporting among 271 district wide, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s Office.

Unlikely. The mantra this year is "stop Obamcare". I don't see this disgruntled 10% voting in a dem just to spite Paul. Besides, it wouldn't be enough to win.
