Here's an excerpt from an article running in South Carolina; it contains the thoughts of Professor Larry Sabato:

“There are two different types of long shots,” said Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics. “There are people who are clearly unqualified to be president — candidates like Ron Paul or (California congressman) Duncan Hunter on the Republican side and somebody like (Ohio congressman) Dennis Kucinich on the Democratic side.

“And then there is a second type — somebody who is clearly qualified but who is not seen as having a good chance of winning, people like (U.S. senator from Connecticut) Chris Dodd, Joe Biden and (former Wisconsin governor and Bush cabinet member) Tommy Thompson before he got out.

His take: Tommy Thompson: qualified; Ron Paul: unqualified.

Mitt Romney - Flip flops, has to fund his own campaign, cannot even face up to a sick man in regards to an issue important to him (medical marijuana).

Ghoul - Was there on 9/11 and has based his entire candidacy on this fact, no one doubts this. The NYFD hates him, 9/11 victims hate him, in fact ... no one "likes" him.

Thompson - A lobbyist and a guy who had a stint on a T.V. show. Addresses people in a near slur whenever he tries to pull his "common guy" drawl out. Wife has had more plastic surgery than him obviously. Did I mention lobbyist? Because you can't say lobbyist enough.

Who's the most qualified?
