I thought this video would be about the old news about Condi. Actually it's about the relationship (both cordial and not) between the Bushes and Joseph Ratzinger. Quite interesting. And the relationship is pretty shady, even by Vatican standards.

Of course, the most traditional Catholics would consider Ratzinger a kind of ecclesiastical neocon, and therefore his connections with the Bushes all too predictable. And the thing about returning abortion to the states has been discussed to death here. But for I think that for most Catholics (and I am not and never have been Catholic), Ron Paul sure looks like the best candidate, though he is a Protestant.

I think some might go for Bill Richardson because he is Catholic and because as a Democrat he holds a less neutral and more positive position on unions than Ron Paul, American Catholicism having such a long historical relationship to unionism.
