Okay Yall - With Halloween almost upon us please use this as an Oppty to decortae your yard in all things RP! If thats too....... scary .....hahaha then give out a slim jim with each candy - the parents will get it! Maybe a good time for the secret rock idea!:D

Definitely in favor of doing something for Halloween, my plan is Jack-O-Lanterns, one with his face and a bunch of others saying Who Is Ron Paul? I am actually dying to start carving them but I have to be patient and wait or they will rot.

I have suggested in the past not putting literature or dvd's in childrens candy baskets, leaving literature or political messages with children is usually against campaign policy.. Instead give a slim jim to the parents that are walking their children door to door.. Much better idea and then you know they actually got the slim jim.

I had thought a food drive. Patriotic costumes. Ask for a nonperishable food item instead of candy. Give them a chocolate gold coin and some campaign info, as well as a flyer that discusses how charity can support the poor better than welfare through private initiatives.

This
a) Feeds People
b) Gets average people involved
c) shows people who Ron Paul supporters are face to face
d) gets us places we ordinarily can't get.

Even putting little strips of paper that say "Google Ron Paul and discuss the treat of freedom with your parents" Will do wonders.

No need for fancy stuff.

This is a HUGE, LOW COST opportunity if executed properly. This is our chance to get the soccer mom's involved and they will be coming to us!

I think people should just put a sign up near the door or the sidewalk. Think of all the parents walking along with their children. A sign that points out Ron Paul's views on the war or the income tax. Anything that is appealing to the demographics of your neighborhood. You'll definitely have people asking questions. Pass out slim jims if you want to go even further.
