Arch neocons now saying the US cannot fund a military establishment with the amount of debt and spending, exactly what RP has been saying for years. It's almost like listening to him, they're slowly coming round and acknowledging the elephant in the room

I just hope the average Republican voter will realize this much. I think the average republican voter could be persuaded to Ron Paul's position. I realize there is a neo Conservative wing that will always make up 20% or so of the voters in the primaries and never vote for Paul. But Republicans or those who identify as conservatives that I talk to like Ron Paul, I rarely hear anything negative. If Paul can explain we cannot afford these nation building missions and that Conservatives have historically opposed nation building and that Obama supports it I think in these extreme economic circumstances they will listen.
