I know some of you have mixed feelings about Tucker but I think he is the man.

I was watching something about drugs, and how all the narcotics laws came into being.. pretty sickening and I can see a lot of correlations between that & smoking..

Did you know the first drug bans were not formed out of "public safety", but out of racism, hatred and fear of the chinese workers in LA during the late 1800's?

Did you know that it was originally found unconstitutional to regulate/ban drugs? They found a way around the constitution by taxing.. Not until Nixon was there an all-out ban..

Taxing as a way around the constitution to sway personal habits? That sounds a lot like what they're doing in regards to smoking..??

Only a matter of time until we end up like Communist China in the 1950's where they hold public executions of "users"..

First they came for the gays, but I did not speak out because I was not gay.
Then they came for the druggies, but I did not speak out because I did not use drugs.
Then they came for the smokers, but I did not speak out because I was not a smoker.
Then they came for the fatties...dude, they're coming to get me!
Then they came for you, but there was no one left to speak out for you.

Here's a little article I wrote on one particular smoking ban:

You guys think it's bad here, but the UK is far worse.

A couple of recent incidents from across the pond:

A deaf man was smoking a cigarette at a bus stop. Someone standing behind him told him to put it out, but he couldn't hear. So the guy just beat the piss out of the filthy smoker and sent him to the hospital. Guess that'll learn him not to pollute anyone's air with secondhand smoke!

In another case, a guy broke his ankle, but the wonderful British socialized health care system refused to repair it. Why? Because he smokes cigarettes. You know what they did for this nicotine addict instead of treating his ankle? They prescribed him a steady supply of morphine. What a brilliant solution to the problem!

I can't wait until such progressive ideas really take hold here in the States.
