Rand Paul - working for Kentucky, not NObama

Meant as a brainstorming . . . and in some fun
but with 3 weeks to go, maybe they could use some of our grassroots help - or not.

As a KY outsider . . . (and feel welcome to correcting me if I'm wrong)
the primary opponent as indicated from the forum Rand Paul ad thread,
seems to be someone using Rand's words against him -
about the spending involved for a foreign war.

Like his Dad, they get the soft on defense card played against them . . .
although everyone knows we can NOT afford to police the world -
it is an impossible dichotomy of ideals - neocons parrotting about
limited spending/balanced budget/strong economy AND large-scaled foreign intervention.

I'll encourage all to chime in for suggestions for Rand Paul's Kentucky U.S. Senate bid . . .
as a prelude to his Dad's future "announcement"

and so I'll start with my first rather lame suggestion . . . meant as a "brainstorming" start
( and definitely don't be so hesitant about the suggestion of some "off-the-wall" ones . . .
. . . even if just to at least "bump" the thread)

Rand Paul - working for Kentucky, not NObama

I've got several but I'll narrow it down to these two: either "Jefferson warned us about the dangers to liberty of standing armies" or "bomb those t'rrists back to the stone age",

How about, "Rand Paul: selling my soul for a senate seat 2010".
or "Rand Paul: Half the man my dad is"

This site discusses their primary race - and contains one of each Rand and Grayson ads.
http://campaigndiaries.com/2010/02/23/tray-grayson-rand-paul-hammer-each-other-for-insufficient-opposition-to-obamas-war-on-coal/

Grayson plays his with a spot of Rand speaking before Ron Paul banners . . .
certainly campaigning in Kentucky for his Dad in '08.

One thing that glares out at me though . . . even Rand's 30 sec spot starts off with Grayson speaking . . .

Anyone would think it was a Grayson commercial if it started while I was channel surfing in Louisville, Lexington or anywhere across the state - no doubt.

You are flipping stations and as you pass by - it is at first just like advertising for Grayson but paid for by Rand's campaign -
yes, it materializes into a Rand ad - but really starts off wrong imho . . .
So, making the shot of Grayson in a smaller view box would be way better . . . my 2¢

Rand Paul - No Bailout Money . . .

http://treygrayson.info/2009/09/graysons-bailout-buddies/

Alexander (TN) – Yea
Bennett (UT) – Yea
Bond (MO) – Yea
Burr (NC) – Yea
Chambliss (GA) – Yea
Coburn (OK) – Yea
Collins (ME) – Yea
Cornyn (TX) – Yea
Grassley (IA)- Yea
Hatch (UT) – Yea
Isakson (GA) – Yea
Kyl (AZ) – Yea
McConnell (KY) – Yea
Mccain (AZ) – Yea
Murkowski (AK) – Yea
Thune (SD) – Yea
Voinovich (OH) – Yea

I don't profess to know much of anything about Kentucky politics really, but . . .
I wouldn't imagine Kentuckians would be all too happy with these "bailout Senators" passing the donations around for Grayson.

So, . . .

Rand Paul - No Bailout Money . . .

Trey Grayson . . . just another "bailout stooge"

Rand Paul 2010 Washington's last hope

ok that's it for now

Do you mean America's Last Hope? This slogan makes him sound like a Washington insider. Americans on a whole dislike Washington right now. It makes him sound like he is Washington's last hope to save their system.

Yeah . . . I don't get that either -
Kentucky of all places should be a good place for a liberty message like that.

According to NORML . . . tobacco is the #2 cash crop in Kentucky (data is old ?)

With one of my Senators contributing to Grayson coffers after his yea for the AIG bailout,
