VA just passed a resolution that states that individuals aren't required to buy health insurance, and now this. Strange to say that I'm proud of my state but I guess I have to give them credit. :)

Did this pass all the way through? The Health Care resolution?

There are actually not one, but TWO similar resolutions that would nullify the ObamaCare bill in its mandate that all citizens must be insured:

SB417-

It passed the state Senate with a 23-17 vote: http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=32083

Then it passed the state House Commerce & Trade Committee with a 17-5 vote: http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=32417

...and then the full House passed is with a 66-29 vote: http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php?view=32509

There is also HB10, which is not as far along. SB417 is expected to be signed into law by McDonnell shortly. :)

Very nice, I hope all states are able to do this. We need to make a habit of telling DC where to go. I am all for states rights. They have more authority than the Federal Government and it's time we used it to protect ourselves. Let the statists and socialists live in their respective states and freedom loving Americans in theirs. It's the only peaceful arrangement possible.
