Ron should just subpoena AIPAC and cut out the worthless middleman... aka Hillary Clinton.

Those properties for sale were just fine, right up until the US decided to piss off practically the entire planet with our Terroristic Foreign policies, so now the State Department has to build Big Bunker Style Embassies with multiple security walls in every nation, oh, and to house, FBI offices, IRS offices, ATF, DEA, CIA, FSP, DIA, DIS, NSA, NRO, yotta yotta.

All at the expense of the people while in a Depression. Imagine That...

That quick response by Hillary of "Selling Value property" is a joke. On Top of that, it was always the US Embassy personal that used to joke about the big lavish embassies being built by the Soviet Union and Communist China.

Now here we are 10-20 years later building even bigger ones and it's not just Baghdad or London... it's everywhere.

$54 BILLION budget for Hillary and the State Department is Lunacy!

It's appropriate to ask the Secretary of State questions about her budget and
going more into debt over extra spending at State . . .

RP : "Why is it worth building a billion dollar embassy in London ?"
when that money could be used in the USA where "people are falling through the cracks"

While Hilary's very respectful answer to the Congressman is at least reasonable -
saying that London is a platform for the U.S. government operations - and the money is from a consolidation of leased space around London -
she just doesn't have much of an answer for what State Dept. can really cut from their bloated budget because of the "post-conflict responsibilities".

so Ron Paul has made his point . . . the war expenses go on for much longer than the actual war.

NY Times today . . .
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/26/arts/design/26arts-TWOJURYMEMBE_BRF.html

so they are what ? . . . arguing about architects for the design of the London embassy . . . uggh.

Thanks for the video youtube find.

RP : . . . calling for more diplomacy . . .
. . . reverse the empire mentality - and it's financial burden . . .

"any shift of policies . . . will that war ever end ?"

"pleased . . . but I don't see the difference"

Madame Secretary Clinton : "President's actions in these first 100 days . . . sorting out everything we inherited"

"at least articulating a new approach"'

"shift this gigantic 'ship of state' Mr. Paul and we are looking for your help to do so"

- and - "you had the most enthusiastic supporters . . .
. . .your message obviously resonated with alot of people."

Rep. Howard Berman (D-Calif.), the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee : "You're going to encourage them"

Good stuff . . . thanks.
