fyi...

A new development that brings new insight into Medina's role in the political Simulacrum.
Today, it is my understanding that Alex Jones attacked Medina because she disavowed "9-11 Truthers"

And previously, we have Glenn Beck attacking Medina because she did NOT disavow "9-11 Truthers"

So Becks says she’s a traitor for ‘not disavowing truthers’ and AJ says she’s a traitor for ‘disavowing truthers’ .

Sounds like shes been inserted to add noise, and split up the Patriot movement between Patriot Truthers and Patriot non-Truthers. What a mess, and people are buying into the Simulacrum and expending energy, wasting time, and exhausting themselves emotionally.

This is a great example of vector design and implementation, as distributed by two very skilled vector-leaders in the media. The public gets divided over extraneous issues, then focuses on that rather than what really matters in the state of Texas.

AJ attacked her, but he is still keeping his Medina signs up.

He was mostly pissed because not only is it a bad thing to say, but it also hurt her quite a bit. The neocons including Beck took her answer and have been going at her for a week saying she is a flip flopper.. AJ finally brought the issue up today because he realized that the second interview was also staged to attack Medina.. he's pissed cause she has new campaign staff since the incident and is blaming it on them for directing her improperly... and placing blame on her for letting them direct her like that. He wants to have her back on.

It sounds like Glenn Beck and Alex Jones are both playing the Simulacrum Vector game, not Medina. Debra Medina simply says she's not a 9/11 Truther, but people are allowed to have their own views. Glenn Beck and Alex Jones are twisting the situation to fit their agenda.

Yeah, and she's really from "Beesville" TX.

No ... No... she's not part of the political Simulacrum, it's just those bad media guys. Did you see my post reference Bezmenov, and his discussion of how Sleepers and Messiahs would be inserted into the power mix as the public becomes more and more disgusted with the status quo?

Are you telling us that Debra Medina is not from Beeville, Texas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beeville,_Texas)?

Ive had enough of this 9/11 crap!

Medina isn't running for Governor of 9/11 so can we please focus on what matters at this point in time? She's running for Governor of Texas so if Beck and AJ can't get past the 9/11 crap to pay attention to what matters then both should be cast aside as distractions and saboteurs.

Amen!

I'm a 9/11 skeptic myself, but it's such a ridiculous thing for a movement to divide itself over; almost as ridiculous as Minarchists vs. Voluntaryists. It's something I'm tired of losing friends and allies over, especially since, to me, it's a fairly minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison closes out a week in which virtually all of the state’s major newspapers granted her the favour of their endorsement in the Republican Party Primary over Governor Rick Perry. The Austin American-Statesman, Beaumont Enterprise, Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle, Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, Marshall News Messenger, San Antonio Express-News And Wichita Falls Times Record News have all ndorsed Hutchison For Governor.

And there you have it. While all this 9/11 bickering and backbiting is going on, the people trying to get elected are running past us. I gotta give Beck credit, he sure knew how to get this movement quickly and thoroughly distracted while time until the primary wastes away. He played "us" quite well. According to the latest PPP poll, she only lost a few percentage points due to Beck's comments but in reality he's done much more damage because the movement lost focus and made Beck and 9/11 the issue du jour instead of GETTING HER ELECTED.

Good post. Time to turn-off the noise-makers and get back down to business.

Now, what I'd like to know is why do people think Medina is worthy of support? Here's what I said a week ago or so...

When I said I thought it might have been a setup, I meant something differently than how I think you interpreted it.

What I'm saying is I wonder if Medina is part of the setup. If this case, it would have been a shrewd political move as it would have been known in advance that this would cause an uproar in the Patriot community and that she would receive tremendous free publicity and donations.

All options are on the table, because I can see no reason at this point to dismiss this hypothesis, as much as many here might find it repugnant.

Right now, they are desperately seeking new candidates that can capture the people's imagination, because they know the existing candidates are distrusted and ineffective. People need to remain guarded and diligent in times like these. Don't buy your own B.S., and don't just trust the front-story.

And, "Who & What is Debra Medina? (Research Please)"

IP, you should run for office. But be wary of analysis paralysis.

Exactly. By Beck attacking Medina, there is no blowback on the other candidates.

Alot of people have made a big deal about Medina polling 20% showing her still having a shot. The two big problems are here though: 1) Her unfavorables went from 6% to 30% in this latest poll and 2) Hutchison is now polling 31% to her previous 27%.

I think we can see that Hutchison is starting to grab up the anti-Perry vote and Perry is consolidating his defectors.

Report: Staffers leaving Perry Campaign for Medina Campaign
Staff | Feb 04, 2010 | 3 comments

According to the Jeff Bolton show on KLIF earlier this morning, it was reported that 4-5 staffers from the Rick Perry campaign are leaving to join with the Medina campaign. This has reportedly been confirmed with a Medina campaign staff member.

^ & this

I'm disappointed at how easily these divide & conquer techniques work on this movement of supposedly "awake" people, including AJ.

STOP PLAYING THEIR FUCKING GAME EVERYBODY!!! Quit talking about 9-11, quit talking about that snake Beck (if AJ keeps it up quit, talking about his ass too, he should know better) and get back to working to get her into office. Stop being sidetracked by these windbags & get back to talking about REAL ISSUES that actually matter to Texans. That is what she & the rest of us we're doing when she was rising in the polls like a rocket. That is what she & the rest of us need to do again. 6 DAYS PEOPLE! EYES ON THE PRIZE!

Thank you.

If I hear much more of this, my head will explode.
Argue this issue all you want if this is a priority for you, but please take it somewhere else.
And spare me the tired excuse that Medina brought this all on herself. I don't care one way or the other. Move on.

Also, as stated by a previous poster, any suggestion that Medina is a purposeful plant is ridiculous.

I so often wish this forum were more representative of the wider electorate.
And then there are times like this... :(

I've know very intelligent and high capable people in politics who have been duped and setup as pawns. It happens all the time... people get used for political purposes. Hence, this hypothesis is not out of the question. Whether Debra would understand this entirely another matter.
