$220k in 18 hours over the web! Looks like we are going to be in for some stiff competition.

That's kind of expected. Hopefully it should start flatlining.

Yeah, there are plenty of Republicans who see the CFR and AEI belonging, "C" rated candidate by Americans for Better Immigration, McCain-Feingold voting, luke-warm rated by GOA, neoconservative actor as some kind of Reagan reincarnation. Furthermore, they don't care to face the facts of what he really is.

The good thing is that these people are a small minority of the voting populace. :)

I can tell you one thing, a lot of the people on townhall.com are frothing at the mouth for him. I certainly could use help from a couple of people who are able to conduct well-founded, reasoned debates with these people in the coming weeks. In other words.... HELP!

Well... I did just deposit some cheques, so I think I'll donate 1/5 of what I have (which is only $25) to Dr. Paul's campaign.

Key word is monster.

He represents the status quo and he can speak in complete sentences.

I agree.. I think it will drop off pretty fast. From other forums I have been on, it seems to be about a 50/45 split of RP and FT support. And the Ft supporters were just itching and saving their pennies. So FT just opened the flood gates on a pond... It will come to a crawl soon, unless he gets donations from sources other than individuals, IMO.

Yeah, but don't forget. This guy is and will be receiving filthy, blood stained Bush money.

Bush's support will be his biggest weakness I think.

I found this link via Drudge:

Slightly off- topic, but I thought it was curious that Fred should go to Israel, rather than spending more time in the primary states, before "officially" announcing his candidacy.

Looks like he's after backing from Israel. "Support me and I'll nuke Iran if they try to wipe you off the map".

Thompson is going to be our biggest problem in the primary.

It's true there are only so many bushbots but they're all republican primary voters.

Giuliani isn't even a serious threat.
