I think the heat the American Conservative Union is getting needs to be countered. I had an excellent time at the event, and I am sure with the snide and nasty press they are getting, they may appreciate knowing that many of us attended and enjoyed it.

Dear CPAC Organizers,
I am writing to thank you and your volunteers for organizing such a wonderful conference. My entire time spent at CPAC was filled with conservative thought combined with the values of American freedom. As Thomas Jefferson once remarked, "Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of liberty."
Despite what the detractors say, CPAC has energized me to become a precinct leader, and to renew my membership to various organizations represented who seemed to be realigned with our values. I am excited to attend CPAC, if you will have me, in 2011.
