The more i think about it ,the more i think we need to be constantly aware to the point of being overly cautious at every olive branch offered the libertarian minded people in the republican party.

As i saw the Ron Paul Movement take hold the first real goal to be established during the primaries ,was to take control and remake the republican party into the ideals of the original forefathers (since the system has pretty much made the 3rd party candidate a impossibility to win)

After the complete debacle of Mccains bid for presidency the republicans seemed to be a defeated party with no enthusiasm.

Now i dont want to come across as a conspiracy theorist but i had lets say a epiphany on the way things are playing out.

Just a little bit after mccains defeat ,you have Glenn beck,Whos a great speaker like obama and can get people motivated .Start to become very popular with his cnn show.

Would it be so crazy to conclude that the strategists for the republicans saw the enthusiasm for the ron paul supporters and the reception people had to Glenn Becks show and put 2 and 2 together and said lets get Glenn beck to be our speaker and tap into the enthusiasm of the ron paul supporters.

Soon after you saw Glenn Beck join fox news where he started the 9/12 project and sponsored his version of tea parties. He started to sound like he really did have passion towards what the forefathers had created, but i started watching his older videos after the medina incident to compare his attitude then and now and noticed in this video at 1:50

YouTube - Ron Paul - Terrorism? - Glenn Beck show (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wm96uz11NM)

.....his recognition in the growing strength of the rallying cry around ron paul and him commenting on taping into it.

So after hearing Ron paul wining cpac vote it got me wondering if the old establishment republicans are just gonna try to set Ron Paul up to use him till they can suck what enthusiasm hes created and try to apply it to themselves before they throw him completely under the bus.

Now i know the easy answer is ya but to what degree.

Is it going out to far on a limb to say that Glenn could be part of a possible scheme being used to reestablish the republican party off the enthusiasim Ron paul creates.

So after 2 years do you think were starting to change the republican party or are we just tools being used?

Im surprised this is a issue noone cares to talk about. To me the old establishment republicans attempting to hijack the growing support of the ron paul movement to use for there benefit is a problem that needs recognized and at least acknowledged so that we dont allow them to completely manipulate things

Are there any libertarians who actually believe that the power elite are going to let Ron Paul win and live? Seriously? Anybody? Wake up.
