Paul's rip snorting speech at CPAC complete with his stock call for a debt free, bare bones government, and a neo isolationist foreign policy, sprinkled with a pinch here and there of racial baits, is guaranteed to stir the juices of the frustrated, angry, and naive flock. This makes him as scary as ever, especially to the GOP mainstream.

I honestly think Ron Paul would have an easier time beating the Democrats in the General election than in winning the Republican nomination. Whoever faces Obama in 2012 other than Palin will win. The Democrats will have everything running against them, the economy will be in shambles and they will have to defend our continued intervention in Iraq and Afghanistan and possibly by 2012 in Iran. The only thing they will be able to do is race bait. Most Americans won't go for it. Americans don't care about color, they want results, and will be pissed of by democrats crying racism every two seconds.
