Just watching fox and noticed at the bottom in their ticker that they mention mitt romney came in 2nd place and sarah palin came in 3rd. then it went on to other stuff. i rewound the feed just to make sure i didnt overlook pauls first place finish and sure enough it WASNT on there at all. just 2nd and 3rd place. Then a bit later they had a segment talking about how paul won with 31%, but as always, the other person had audio problems and couldnt be heard so they cut the segment and moved on. they said they would come back to it later....

Can someone put together a "Ron Paul wins at CPAC" advertisement we can use on billboards? Maybe some targeting in Iowa/New Hampshire?

I'd love to see one in downtown Des Moines. :)

Fox just mentioned it again, stressing how unscientific it was.

Imagine what we would be seeing and hearing if Mitt Romney won

they just reported on it..
Believe it or not, it was fair.
So they did it at least once.

The footage they showed was of Ron coming onstage and being cheered...not the announcement of the vote.

11:22 - ticker said he had a "blowout victory"

IF Palin won it would be "Palin finally smashes Romney's winning streak @ Cpac"

just looked at Fox Nation on the web. they have no mention whatsoever of Ron Paul on their front page (although, of course, articles of other CPAC speakers are there):

http://www.thefoxnation.com/

they even have a link for just "CPAC" but under this link it shows the various speakers, etc., but _NO_ mention whatsoever of Ron Paul:

http://www.thefoxnation.com/topics/cpac-2010

how the hell is this "fair and balanced" reporting?!!??

On Fox News Sunday, they just about choked having to talk about it. They refused to mention Paul before the segment, then they had to talk about it when discussing the straw poll. Mara Liasson took it as an opportunity to attack Rand. Everyone looked to Kristol as if he would really go off on it, but he played it cool and put his spin on it. Bottom line, they dismissed Paul as "not serious" and extreme fringe. But Kristol still wants all those enthusiastic young Republicans!

The old joke goes:

An American raced a Russian one-on-one. The Russian won.

As reported in America's newspapers: "American Takes Second! Russian Next-to-Last!"

This is kinda like that.

IF RP becomes president, he should cut out Fox News from any stories, and give it to all their competitors.

If FOX can't even trust their own polls, why would they trust CPAC's?

OMG, this is sickening:

From the WINNERS list:

Ex-MA Gov. Mitt Romney: He didn't win the CPAC straw poll, but Romney came in second place to a contender no one believes is serious about running in WH'12 -- Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX). Romney gave a well-regarded speech that fired up the crowd more than most of his potential '12 rivals, and his showing, 3 times more than ex-AK Gov. Sarah Palin (R), demonstrates he still has a following among the influential group of activists.

RON, IT'S TIME TO COME OUT AND TELL THE WORLD YOU ARE "SERIOUS" ABOUT RUNNING IN 2012...Please?
