I'd like to see a site where people upload pdf's of postcards that can be ordered or printed. A variety and competition and we'd get some good ones. Slim jims and business cards too.

thats a good idea..

we really need to take advantage of the "nice weather" and start the grassroots campaign now. It's our only hope of laying a strong enough foundadtion against the inevitable media hurricane sure to come after Ron Paul.

I would actually modify them a bit and make them friendly to Iowa.

Abortion is the big issue there? I dont think bashing the Bush their hero will work well

Polls may disagree with me, but I don't hear any of my politically-interested friends mention abortion at all as a pressing issue right now.

politically-interested

Well there´s yer problem. Majority of my Baptist family are single-issue voters: abortion´s the issue. One protester out in the cold in front of Planned Parenthood gets the lot of ´em to sobbing.

are they from Iowa?

Abortion wasn't even a hot issue in 2008. It won't be in 2012, either.

it's THE issue in Iowa among Republican caucus voters

Bashing Bush is not a good idea IMHO, we need to make the postcards Republican friendly

That may be true, but of the thousands of ads I saw ran in Iowa, I don't recall any focusing on abortion.

With the economy the way it is, Its the Economy, Stupid, may be receive a lot more focus that it did in 2008. The Democrats shifted the focus onto healthcare when it wasn't a hot topic. We need to shift the focus back.

If people don't realize that Bush was part of the problem, they're not likely to vote for Ron Paul.

Just my opinion.
