Man, talk about biased reporting!!

Paul’s victory renders a straw poll that was already lightly contested among the likely 2012 GOP hopefuls all but irrelevant as the 74-year-old Texan is unlikely to be a serious contender for his party’s nomination.

and

CPAC organizers were plainly embarrassed by the results, which could reduce the perceived impact of a contest that was once thought to offer a window into which White House hopefuls were favored by movement conservatives.

and

Besides Romney, Pawlenty is the only potential candidate with the makings of a campaign infrastructure.

And what the hell was THIS about?? (emphasis added by me)

A spokesman for the conference rushed over to reporters following the announcement to make sure they had heard the unmistakable boos when the screen first showed Paul had won the straw poll.

Damn.

There were loud cheers outside the room. The main room was full all afternoon and a lot of the CPACers were not in there. Especially Ron Paul people since there were CFL events.

Sorry, Jeremy.

I was so wound up about the blatant bias of that article I forgot to add a big "CONGRATULATIONS!!" to you for being there and getting quoted. Thanks for standing up for Dr. Paul!

What a bunch of pathetic losers! CPAC is never the greatest indicator, but we won fair and square. Stop blaming it on "organization" or some other such nonsense, actually get out there and get the votes if you want them. All these stories are the same, of the 5 I've read, it's almost like it's a script where they just enter in some variables.

I saw you live during Ron's speech as well.

"The poll means nothing while referring to Ron Paul."
"Due to the poll, Romney looks good."
"The poll doesn't mean much referring to Palin."

Make up your mind Politico.

When writing to the MSM send them the following Famous Kentucky Crow Recipe: http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,193,159182-241195,00.html They will need it sooner rather than later :o)

“I understand their passion, but he’s not the leader of the conservative movement,” said California Republican Phil Jennerjahn, who is mounting an uphill congressional run in the 33rd District.

Who IS the leader of the conservative movement then Mr Jannerjahn?

I tell you what. One thing I see is that if Ron Paul runs again in 2012 it wil be different. It will be a lot harder to paint Ron Paul as crazy (not that they won't try). There will be a lot of people like me who did not get his message at first but that now do. I was sucked right into the media lie about Dr. Paul at first. It was not until the financial crisis that I began to look back at Ron Paul. Many people have awakened to the truth since then. Plus, with the debate sure to focus on the economy, no other candidate can stand a chance against Dr. Paul. Truth is sweat as honey to those that have only ever been fed lies.

As for the MSM Ron Paul is the elephant in the room. That elephant is getting bigger by the day and they will have to acknowledge him sooner rather than later. They are beginning to look like a bunch of uninformed buffoons. It is getting to be humorous.
