“I’m just curious about this movement over there for ending the Fed,” she said. “Yes, end the Fed.” Later: “If Ron Paul is behind it and it has nothing to do with foreign policy, I’m for it.”

Well, she doesn't sound like she knows too much about it, but based on her admiration of Ron Paul when it comes to fiscal policy, she is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps someone could hand her a copy of "End the Fed" to satisfy her curiousity and solidify her position on this.:D

The Federal Reserve is intertwined with foreign policy. Without the Federal Reserve and central banking, large scale overseas operations cannot be financed without high taxation(which coulter opposes). She has said she likes Ron Paul on everything other than foreign policy. The fact is by 2012 our empire won't be able to be sustained and we will have to cut our commitments overseas to prevent a dollar collapse. She might be willing to give up our wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to get in a guy like Ron Paul who understands how we got into this mess and what we need to do to get out of it. The fact is, we need more media pundits other than the Judge, Pat Buchanan, Tucker Carlson, and Mike Church. We need big names behind the campaign to rally support.

she has no idea what the fed is. the old guard of pundits, they want to talk about john edwards sex tape and what someone said at some event that 5 people heard.

anything of substance is like kryptonite. they all came of age career wise in the 80's and 90's when we didn't really have any big problems and everything was focused on personalities and dramas and so forth. where people like john mcCain were big rock stars. a lifetime ago

pre iraq war

If Ron Paul is behind it and it has nothing to do with foreign policy, I’m for it.

I love it when women put on gobs of makeup and say things that make them sound stupid. It's hot.

Please...SOMEBODY, hand her an End the Fed book (signed), and tell her to read it!

The missing link for these neocons is the connection between the monetary system and the military/industrial complex.

Because its a structural limitation, which is much stronger than anything any politician, constituency or interest group can muster.

OK, I found audio of this. And guess what? She wants to abolish the CIA also. WTF???

I did a quick search on google and this article from a few days ago is all I could come up with as to why she would want to abolish the CIA:

So now, our "spies" are prohibited from spying. The only job of a CIA officer these days is to read foreign newspapers and leak classified information to The New York Times. It's like a secret society of newspaper readers. The reason no one at the CIA saw 9/11 coming was that there wasn't anything about it in the Islamabad Post.

(On the plus side, at least we haven't had another break-in at the Watergate.)

CIA agents can't spy because that might require them to break laws in foreign countries. They are perfectly willing to break U.S. laws to leak to The New York Times, but not in order to acquire valuable intelligence.

I can't really stand her smugness, but I always thought she was very intelligent.

The principals and the beneficiaries of the Federal Reserve System pretty much write the script for our foreign policy.

If you take away their printing press-- or atleast take away their monopoly-- they will be forced to compete like any other entity, and will have little free time to worry about building a global empire.

Freeing up Americans to trade in innovative ways that do not necessarily involve Federal Reserve currency will go a long way towards bringing justice and sanity to our foreign policy.

On a side note, with a 22% true unemployment rate (http://www.shadowstats.com/), it is high time to declare the Federal Reserve experiment a collossal failure.

How i wish that when people start laughing at Ron on the MSM that somebody would call them out. That being said, I dispize her, but you really have no idea how big that is that we have her on our side. She has a huge following, and i dont care if she agrees with Ron on foreign policy, SHE JUST ENDORSED HIM<<<<< that means her stupid listeners will start to look at him. We need things like this to start happening, this is a HUGEEE GAIN. ONE OF THE BIGGEST NEOCONS OUT THERE JUST ENDORSED RON!!!!

YouTube - Ann Coulter Q & A at 2010 CPAC (2 of 2) - Complete Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBNbfewjkfQ)

So in summary, Ann Coulter wants to abolish the Fed, abolish the CIA, and she claims to be more libertarian than most libertarians. Interesting.

She's said before that she agrees with Ron Paul on everything but foreign policy. I do remember at last year's CPAC that she said Afghanistan was a no-win war though...

She said "everything except Iraq", not even foreign policy in general. Her endorsement would come with thousands of her followers.

I agree with her in the sense I would prefer we get rid of Medicare and Medicaid before we get rid of the drug war. I don't want to pay for lazy addicts. However, if there is a chance, like in California, to end prohibition and legalize marijuana, I will support it. At this point, we can't be picky about what comes first, the freedom agenda needs to be passed. The thing about pot is you have to know the crowd you are talking too. When you go to colleges, talk about the drug war and foreign policy. When you are at your average town hall with middle age voters and long time conservative activists, talk about taxes and spending.

Abolish the CIA? I can't believe she said that. But yeah, she sounds alot better than Beck even when she talks about eliminating entire departments. It is a huge step in our direction.

If she's cool with me, then I'm cool with her. She might be crazy in some ways, but we all our in our own way. I think she has a way with conservatives ;)
