I voted for the first time in 2006 and did so as a party-line Democrat.

I do not vote.

I'm registering and voting for Ron, that's all.

Everything but democratic or republican, except Ron Paul.

Locally, it's either the empty-suit-pretty-boy party of the eternally stupid Martin O'Malley, or a liberal Republican. From a management standpoint, the Republicans will always be superior, at least from a taxation standpoint.

It almost sounds like the "lesser of two evils," but the vice chairman of the Montgomery County told me "It's better to have a third class fireman than a first class arsonist." We need to start finding, supporting and running as "Ron Paul Republicans" in local elections. Getting behind the Libertarian Party in Maryland might not be a bad idea either. However the Presidential elections turn out, one man is not going to save us. Freedom lovers need to start getting active from the ground up.

I don't vote for parties. I vote for individuals who uphold ideals I believe in.

In 2006 I voted for mostly dems hoping for some sort of change, figured out that it didnt really matter what party I voted for since they are all in it together.

Depends. Locally, there have been very few people running that I've liked enough to vote for. I've voted for our Republican mayor, and in 2006, I voted for a conservative/libertarian Republican who was running for congress. Other than those two, I've usually voted Democrat or third party.

Exactly.

But if you tallied my votes for each party it'd be mostly Republicans. Libertarians if they are running, and a fair chunk of Democrats. One thing I like about local elections, they run as individuals and do not associate with a party on the ballot.
