Joseph Robert Stack who is a CPA, did donate $500 to RP's campaign on 12/12/07. Joseph Andrew Stack who despised CPA's and crashed an airplane into the IRS because of his irrational hatred for CPA's, did not. These are two different people with two completely different backgrounds.

Ready-made Twitter rebut:

Joseph ROBERT Stack a Paul donor, is a different person than Joseph ANDREW Stack, who attacked the IRS. http://bit.ly/axvbDB

Are news articles saying that he did?

It's mostly a cyber-rumble right now, being floated on radical left portals, forums, and blogs, and being carried as water by a small army of leftwingnuts in no man's lands like YouTube.

That's why it's important to get ahead of this so it goes nowhere. It can be dealt with NOW before it blows up and ends up on the news outlets.

That said, let me do a news search...

the man expressed a hatred for religion and capitalism.

He was not one of us. He hated the IRS, but that seems to be the end of any similarities we share.

Found a couple disintegritous and disingenuous attempts to tie him to RP:

2:06PM Yesterday Allahpundit at Hot Air already plays the “how can you call him a conservative” game. I don’t know, how about we call him neither a conservative nor a liberal? I mean, he’s raging against the IRS AND he considers President Bush a puppet. I think it’s fairer to say he’s part of that movement that drove Ron Paul’s presidential campaign – ideological chameleons who put a pox on everyone’s house but their own. Let’s stay out of the blame game stuff here can’t we? http://hotair.com/archives/2010/02/18/ntsb-plane-crash-into-austin-office-building-may-have-been-intentional/

Here is an obvious "false flag" poster at the Philadelphia Inquirer:

2012 ~ Ron Paul
Violence is the way in America. Always has; always will. Revolution is fun.

MOST of the political posturing I can see is the left trying to make him into a "teabagger." Fortunately there is not much of a mention of trying to connect RP to this nightmare amongst the M$M. However, Google's news search seems to bring up 4,000 results for: Joseph Stack "Ron Paul" pretty much none of which contain "Ron Paul" so i would say their boolean is broken at the moment.

Reddit user wants to make a t-shirt blaming Ron Paul for the Joe Stack attack:

OK, I went 14 pages in to a Google Search correcting the disinformation as best I could. I refuse to get a Salon or a HuffPo account to correct them on it. Browsing nearly every link in 14 pages of Google returns is actually somewhat tiring...

...:(....

And frankly, some of the posts on THIS site aren't likely to help.... Let's remember, everyone, that we're more than likely being monitored. Any posts here that can be used against Ron Paul's image and reputation undoubtedly WILL be used against him and the entire liberty movement.

No kidding! The gif attachment I posted a few posts above speaks for itself, IMHO. And RPF's show very high on Google. That false claim of Stack donating to RP, being attached to the RPF's domain, shows up on the very first page of Google. :(

Any publicity is good publicity, and if need be, Ron Paul will deal with the campaign contribution issue.

IMO, the Joseph Andrew Stack attack is just the beginning...

What terms are you searching? I can't find the thread with that title.

When I google "joseph stack donate ron paul" I get this thread, which is a good thing.

Found the thread and since it is being linked to by google, changed the title and edited the content.

Thanks Josh, sorry about the delay getting back. I see you found it already, but just FYI the search string was:

Joseph Stack "Ron Paul"

Thank you for fixing that. It was pretty damning.
