He can't endorse Medina because of the incumbent rule. Perry is the incumbent, so Dr. Paul isn't endorsing anyone.

Ron Paul has said he has made an agreement with the GOP not to endorse any candidates running against GOP incumbents. Rick Perry is an incumbent GOP

He can still hold fund raisers. See John Cornyn .

Why are we making such deals with the devil? The GOP screwed Ron....and will continue to screw Ron/Rand in the future....Ron's active and public support would bring in tons of cash to Medina as well as free publicity.

I trust RP that he knows what he is doing. He obviously had a good reason or he wouldn't have done it.

I heard recently that he was about to make a fundraiser in Houston,. Don't have the link, but maybe you should google Houston Ron Paul Debra Medina, fundraiser. That was before the Beck smear job.

If he disobeys their rules, they can strip him of his seniority and leave him with no positions on any committee, making him powerless. See Jim Traficant.

At 75, Paul should evaluate risking his seniority positions to get some younger successors elected.
