Not sure how many Gravel fans there are here, but I'm sure you all remember his very lively debate performances in 2007, and he recently brought his political enthusiasm to Ball State University, of which I got some pictures that I would like to share with you. You can find even more on my Flickr here (http://flickr.com/gageskidmore).

Of course they had to show some of his most famous YouTube clips.

I was actually surprised at a number of answers that Gravel gave, including admitting that he's tried both pot brownies, as well as cocaine once :p. Nevertheless, although I don't agree with him on issues like healthcare for instance, his endorsement of Adam Kokesh, as well as his strong opposition to military force around the world is what really first attracted me to eventually supporting Ron Paul, so I thank Senator Gravel for that.

Though there won't be any video from this event most likely, you can find 10 or so photos from the event here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/gageskidmore/sets/72157623320429471/).

I hadn't heard much about him since the day he endorsed Adam. Any video footage?

many might not be aware just how much of a whistle blower he was in the 70's with the Pentagon Papers...

He's a good guy, though some of his ideas are very flawed so I'd be somewhat hesitant to vote for him for president, but for a lesser office he would be good.

Gravel might very well be the best the Democrats have to offer. He makes a good ally in some areas but in other areas we are polar opposites.

I love Gravel, but IŽll never forget when he tried promoting his ideas on nationalized healthcare at the Libertarian Pres. Debates. Good to know heŽs still out and about.

Well, he's actually a Libertarian now, or a self-described "Progressive Libertarian" according to his FB.

Gravel is an American hero. I disagree with him on many things but he is a Patriot & we are all better off because of him.

The best thing for America would've been a Paul vs Gravel general election in '08. Could you imagine the debates?!?! Substance, integrity, honesty & statesmanship on both sides! We could have had real debates & intellegent discussions that would have actually benefited this country. Oh, well. One can only dream.

Instead we got the nightmare of McCain vs Obama. The worst of both worlds.

I like Mike, I disagree with him on MANY issues, but he's honest, independent, someone our country could use more of. I do think he needs to shave the stache and bring back the glasses (He truly looks like an old man in those pics :P)
