NHLA

Oyez oyez! The New Hampshire Legislature is now in session, and the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance is hard at work both within and without the halls of the State Capitol, fighting for greater freedom and more limited government in the Free State.

Formed in 2003, the NHLA is a non-partisan coalition working to increase individual freedom in New Hampshire and has become a unique and increasingly powerful voice for liberty. An army of volunteers, many of them FSP Participants, use a custom online Bill Review System to review every bill and rate each one on its pro- and anti-liberty features. These ratings are used to produce "The Gold Standard," a weekly newsletter distributed by hand to state legislators. Some legislators have come to rely on this newsletter as a quick reference guide on how to vote pro-liberty in each week's session.

To help swell its all-volunteer ranks, the NHLA has hosted four bill review training sessions this month, attended by almost 50 people. A State House tour/citizen lobbyist training session in early January was attended by 30 activists. A candidate training session will be held on Feb. 6th at Murphy's Taproom, in Manchester.

You don't have to wait until you make the move to join the NHLA! For more information, please visit http://www.nhliberty.org.
