"The poll found Perry leading with 45 percent support among likely Republican voters, with Hutchison at 29 percent and Medina at 17 percent. Eight percent were undecided."

Medina has been consistently surging for a month while closing the gap with Kay Bailey Hutchinson.

This Public Policy Poll has Medina within 4 points:

Yeah that poll you posted is bias. The DMN can't stand Debra Medina. They prefer KBH first and then Perry. Note also this was taken by the DMN at the same time as the PPPoll (which showed Medina in striking distance) and NOT after the Beck appearance.

& Weprin Associates Inc. polled 1,508 registered voters, including 464 likely Republican voters.

464 Republican voters out of 1508 - that says it all!

Yes, this is before the 9/11 flap, and perhaps the DMN is biased against Medina. I posted this strictly because it appeared as the top news story in my google news search for "Debra Medina" today.
