There is no need for anybody to be worrying about the 12 million dollar goal. It is very much reachable. All we need to do is be consistent, keep spreading the word, and inviting other supporters to keep up with the donations as well. Try to get people who are hesitant to donate to change their minds. With a constant effort toward getting the funds to the campaign, it won't take much. With the media coverage from last quarter's results, more people will be open to the message.

It's simple. Every paycheck, give in that donation. If it's a bi-weekly check, give enough for two weeks. To make the $1 million/week goal, all it would take is:

$20/week from 50,000 people
$25/week from 40,000 people
$50/week from 20,000 people
$100/week from 10,000 people

As you can see, it wouldn't take much. Of course you need to give what you can, and nobody can afford to say "someone else will donate", but this is just an example of how easy it is. Even if we start off slow, more support will be coming in the following months if we keep up the work we're doing.

What it comes down to is that, this is it. This is the moment that 70% of the country has been waiting for these past 8 years. It's time for change, but only if America wants it bad enough. We need to use our voices, our brains, and yes, our wallets. And all we have is the simple assurance that we are not in this alone.

"Each of us must choose which course of action we should take: education, conventional political action, or even peaceful civil disobedience to bring about necessary changes. But let it not be said that we did nothing."
- Ron Paul

It is very helpful to see it broken down this way. Thanks for the analysis.

Just donated $200

it was in cash via envelope in Nashville.

I think you are right about consistency. I can donate another $200 next month, so I guess that is the same as $50/week.

My ideas:

I want it to be split up this way:
$4 Mil from meetups
40,000 - 80% of meet up members - Each meetup must average $100 per member (this will be like $9 per week)
How to do: contact each meetup leader and hand over the responsibility to them

$2 Mil from myspace:
30,000 - 50% of people in myspace friendlist - each person donates $25 per month.
How to do: continue earlier myspace project

$2mil from private fundraisers this quarter
$1 mil from non-web people
$1 mil from new supporters
$0.5 mil from facebook:
8000 - 33% of friends - each person donates $25 per month
How to do: Start a facebook project

Where to get the extra 1.5 mil from? (can be > 10 mil before this)
Get more new supporters:
Hit meetup facebook and myspace: ask people to bring in one new friend

Now these have to be split into 3 projects(metup, myspace, facebook) and pushed..

Please mark yourself on this map if you will help support Ron Paul's campaign by making a donation (in addition to any you may have already made) and pledge to work diligently to convince at least TWO people to support Ron Paul as PASSIONATELY as yourself!

Lets see how many marks can be made on this map!

Offline donations won't show up on the online counter.

I sincerely believe that if we manage the raise 12 million this quarter Ron Paul will be our next President. That is how important it is. It' not so much as what that money can buy, like ad time, it makes Ron Paul look like he has momentum and can actually win. People will latch on at that point.

Offline donations won't show up on the online counter.

They will eventually, since the goal includes ALL contributions.

We can reach the goal of 10 million or higher if we all donate NOW and not wait until later! The more we donate NOW the more likely people are to go ALL OUT in the morning!

I remember how skeptical I was it would even reach $10M, until Nov 5. changed my mind.

Amazing, amazing.
