View Full Version : Ron Paul on Tucker - June 6th

Did anyone just catch this? It was awesome... Ron Paul answered the final question from the debate which he was denied... i.e. how to save the Republican party and also went into the tamper-proof id cards and gave absolutely perfect answers. At the end Tucker asked him to come back regularly to just give short tutorials on freedom.

I think he did better and got more into this one short piece than any of the debates even... it was out of the park.

Didn't see it. Tucker was good to RP before, voted for him in '88. I'd love to see it on YouTube as well.

It was the absolute best I've seen so far. Tucker even said something like suggesting that Ron come back and give a tutorial on freedom.

I didn't record it, but will on the repeat airing.

I didn't record it either... it repeats at 6 though, after hardball. I'm sure someone will have it up on youtube soon too, the Ron Paul Army seems to be very on the ball about such things.

Tucker is such a nimrod. Did he really have an interview that wasn't all bungled and full of his neoconservative talking points?

tucker's starting to come around. he said the war in iraq was a mistake and that he was wrong for supporting it.

So does most all politicians. It doesn't change the fact that these politicians were harping on it a few years ago. AHHH they have WMD they will try to destroy us.

if he supports ron paul, and has offered him to come on regularly to his show, he must have something positive about him evan.

Wow that was a great interview. I'm glad they got to talk a bit about the national ID card... I don't think many people know about real ID.

I was so happy to see this when Ron Paul came on. I emailed every news network I could think of last night. Makes me feel like I had an impact.

Thanks for the link.

That was great. I think Tucker threw some softballs again knowing Dr Paul would hit them hard. The National ID was one example.

Almost 8 minutes of airtime. Nice.

"Moderate" republicans, democrats, and independents. Basically the "middle", or people outside the base of either party.

Not really preaching to the choir, but definately to potential converts.

Tucker has conducted two very favorable interviews with Dr. Paul. He has even said he voted for him when he ran for President way back in '88.

He can't be all bad.

This interview is very encouraging to me......Tucker Carlson is practically the ONLY mainstream media figure showing any support of RP or giving him the time of day. I emailed the show, thanking him for the interview and encouraging him to keep his word to have RP on regularly.

I used to think Tucker was a turd, but I am pleasantly surprised by the bow-tie guy's attitude toward our favorite Constitutional Champion. He might just be our best chance at a crack in the impregnable wall of the MSM, that the light might shine through on the masses.

Rock on Tucker!:)

Subject: Regarding Dr. Ron Paul's interview today
To: Tucker@msnbc.com

Dear Mr. Carlson,

Thank you very much for having Dr. Ron Paul on your program this afternoon. His truly conservative message of domestic liberty and non-intervention into foreign affairs is so important at this time in history as we watch with heavy heart our founding ideals and our constitution ignored and forgotten by our elected officials.

I ask you as a concerned American to please honor your statement to have Congressman Paul on your program regularly to give a tutorial on freedom. We need to hear the truth he speaks now more than ever. You are practically the ONLY brave figure in the mainstream media that understands the importance of his message. We need more like you sir. Thank you again and God bless you.

Buchanon has been objective about Dr. Paul too, and isn't a bad sort of paleo.

MSNBC is going to be the cable news network that covers the Paul revolution, FOX and CNN have their candidates all picked out...

People like me?

I used to watch his show every day, I think between 6:00-7:00pm PST. I think they moved his time slot back to early afternoon (with repeat later on in the afternoon, I think) so I don't get to watch it anymore.

I never watched Crossfire, so have no idea what Tucker was like on that show.

I realize Dr. Paul's schedule is probably packed these days, but I believe a regular appearance on this show to give his view on the issue of the day for 2-3 minutes would be great. It would give viewers a chance to see him talk on more than just foreign policy.

Freaking sweet. You know, Hannity is the only pundit I've seen actually ARGUE with Paul. everyone else just says things like "he's right" and "you're my idol" and "you should give us a regular tutorial on what it means to be free". Methinks we should get him on more pundit talk shows like this. The more of them that independently agree with him, the stronger our cause.
