Patience. We were warned that streaming this conference was impromptu and thereby subject to glitches. ;)

Just a friendly ribbing... get the bugs out and I'm sure it'll be a great tool for the townhalls coming up. =)

I just figured it was over. Press conferences don't tend to go as long as speeches, do they?

Who knows? ;) The conference was still in progress when the problem was investigated. Anyhow, I simply want to hear her remarks whether live or recorded.

Conferences generally go on for a long time, some go 30 minutes to an hour, and have multiple speakers. The media people cut it down from there and show what they want.

I always thought they were short myself, until I went to one myself. I thought it would never end! By the end I wished I hadn't sat at the front.

So anyways, how'd it go? What was said?

Medina said Friday she blames the stumble and subsequent firestorm on a "coordinated attack" from the campaigns of her GOP rivals, Gov. Rick Perry and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison.

From the AP story: She later released a statement changing her stance

No, she didn't change her stance. She elaborated on it when given a chance. ;) However, I still want to hear the whole unedited conference, not the DMN's spin on the press conference.

The Dallas Morning News isn't a purveyor of independent thought. ;) Again, we'll see how this situation plays out in Texas. Personally, I wouldn't drag the Perry and Hutchison camps into this situation directly, but this tactic could work because of some indirect evidence, e.g. robo calls, statements issued by those campaigns in the aftermath of the interview, Beck's support of Perry, etc.

Since this race is a political fight and Medina apparently doesn't mind dragging Perry and Hutchison into the fray, then the Medina campaign should seriously consider having the families of the victims of 9/11 respond to the statements issued by the Perry and Hutchison camps smearing Medina: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=231224
