Glenn Beck once again proves that he will talk like a libertarian when it does not matter. And when it does matter he will go right back to the neo-con playbook as usual.

Why does anyone still trust this guy?

He f'ked up big time handling her this way. And she f'ked up too. But, I'll still watch him and support her. She can recover from this.

I'm done even listening to him during the short time on my way to work.

Every word he says that might seem pro-liberty...I know now for a undeniable fact that he is just screwing with his listeners.

What a douche...every single time...

why will you watch him?

For information. His treatment of her reminds me of how he treated Ron Paul. It's not new for him to do shit like this. I hate him when he does it. And he will suffer a backlash for it, as he should. But this isn't a total loss for Medina. People who think it is are giving Beck way too much power.

I can't believe you revealed yourself so obviously in your interview today with Debra Medina. It has become all too obvious that you only speak like you're a libertarian when it doesn't matter, but when an election is close and timing is crucial, you go right to that neo-con playbook and attack those that support liberty the most.

We all saw it when you attacked Ron Paul at a crucial time in the primaries, now you've stepped up and proven yourself once again.

I can't even listen to you any more merely for the entertainment value. It's obvious that you are mocking people who support the Constitution.

I hope all other candidates who support liberty get wind of your treatment of Medina and avoid any interviews with you going into 2010 and 2012. You are to be treated as a hostile interviewer to liberty candidates, just as you are a hostile enemy of liberty.

It was obvious that he was a hostile interviewer when he asked her to tell us about herself...then after she told us and went on about what was wrong with Texas he basically swept all that away and said "that's not what I asked...I said tell us about yourself".

She handled herself too well, he had to jump quickly to his 9/11 truther thing quick. He probably had under that a note to ask her if she's stopped drinking the blood of children.

Ok I agree Beck kinda did ask her some loaded questions, but she was not ready for them. She has to be ready for this stuff. She wants to be governor.

They way I see it is that what occurs in New York and Washington D.C.(bare with me) has nothing to do with Texas. :p

Why should a libertarian be prepared for loaded questions from a libertarian?

Glenn Beck is not a libertarian. Everyone should be smart enough to figure that out.

Meh, Beck's dead to me. Hearing him laugh with his buddies about 9/11 when everyone knows that the majority not minority of people in this country think 9/11 wasn't properly investigated. It's so disgusting to hear Beck and his pals hyping each other up about how terrible and crazy anyone must be who questions the government rofl. Yeah libertarian.. my ass. He's a joke ;)

Medina let Beck define her as opposed to forcefully defining herself. A grave mistake on her part. Her campaign should answer with a press release.

Debra's campaign is far from over. The comments on her Facebook seem to be turning around. My biggest concern is that her campaign is about flat broke. She badly needs money to be able to fight this.

Note: Beck is an ass.

Free Republic sucks and so do the posters.

"I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have never been involved with the 9/11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way. No one can deny that the events on 9/11 were a tragedy for all Americans and especially those families who lost loved ones.

The question surprised me because it's not relevant to this race or the issues facing Texans. This campaign has always been about private property rights and state sovereignty. It is focused on the issues facing Texans. It is not a vehicle for the 9-11 truth movement or any other group.

The real underlying question here, though, is whether or not people have the right to question our government. I think the fact that people are even asking questions on this level gets to the incredible distrust career politicians have fostered by so clearly taking their direction from special interests instead of the people, whether it's Rick Perry and his HPV mandate or Kay Hutchison and voting for the bank bailout. It is absolutely the right and duty of a free people to question their government. Texas does not need another politician who tells you what you want to hear, then violates your liberties and steals your property anyway. I fully expect to be questioned and to be held accountable as Governor, and that's the underlying issue here: should people be questioning their government. And the answer is yes, they should be."
