Just read about this. The proposed nation has been described as being libertarian, with a gold standard currency and no national tax.

Unfortunately, the time is not yet ripe for a declared secession. The day may come and when it does, it may happen very quickly, as with the unraveling of the USSR. But right now a public secession will bring the Federal thugs down on you like a ton of bricks. Remember, Abe Lincoln's "mafia" doctrine holds that once you enter the "Union", you can never leave. And if you try, they will absolutely crush you. Justice and moral rights are irrelevant. It is all about raw power now. The masters will not tolerate a slave uprising. It will take an economic catastrophe combined with multiple secessions so the Federal government will not have the resources or the will to fight multiple, protracted guerilla wars pitting one American against another. THEN you will see something.

The Republic of Lakotah declared their independence from the United States of America in 2007. What is occurring between the internationally recognized sovereign nation and the United States is indicative of what every U.S. citizen faces in the vein of State's Rights.

The United States government has failed to honor Lakotah sovereignty by assessing and collecting taxes, garnishing wages, and auctioning land belonging to their people. By doing so, the U.S. has violated international law and committed aggression against, what amounts to, a defenseless nation. Self-determination has been denied since the money and raw materials necessary for development have been forcefully stripped from their control.

Below are articles regarding the land seizure, particularly dealing with the Crow Creek Tribe. Please share this with as many people as you can to bring this to the forefront in the cause for liberty.

Indian Country Today: IRS Auctioned Crow Creek's Ancestral Land for Purported Back Taxes (http://www.indiancountrytoday.com/national/78534107.html) I remember reading about the land auction over the "back taxes " . Disgraceful , that is the only word for govt.

The Lokotahs should ask some powerful nation to recognize their sovereignty then they can slowly take the US land and kick out the Americans. Sounds kinda like Israel but lets not go there.
