Thread of the day. If I had the money I would post this billboard all over the place.

And what did GW Bush allegedly say about the US Constitution according to Doug Thompson of Capitol Hill Blue? Doug's a long time journalist so I suspect his inside sources were accurate. If so, GW Bush remains a blight on the USA's constitution and we, the people. Most people won't connect the dots, probably, but this billboard is terrific in its subtle implications.

Capitol Hill Blue:

The article that previously appeared under this URL has been removed from our database because a followup investigation revealed the sources quoted in the article did not, as they claimed, attend a White House meeting between President George W. Bush where we reported he called the Constitution a "god damned pieced of paper."

Although we believe President Bush has a history of flagrant disregard for the protections and liberties outlined in the Constitution, we cannot confirm that he made the statement and retract the article.

Our apologies to our readers. Our policies regarding the use of unnamed sources were changed in 2006 and the article would not have appeared on this web site under those new policies.

Contact the people who put the Ron Paul billboards up. I am sure, if they wanted, could get this done.

Ah, thanks! I didn't realize that a retraction was made. However, Bush's antics will always leave lingering doubts in the minds of people. I appreciate the posting of this retraction, though.
