USAF helicopter pilot since '04. I've always been pretty libertarian in my views, but being in the military really exposes you to the madness of an unchecked government.

Army, was in the 1st ID, and the 1st Cav. MOS was 91B, which is now called 91W. Was a Line medic. I hated Ft hood, and for all the history the Cav has, I couldn't stand my unit. Might've had something to do with being in 2/7 Cav. Custer's regiment. Yeah... The one that got completely slaughtered at little big horn.

I miss Vilseck. And strangley enough, I miss hohenfels. O.o

I served as an infantry paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne division between 1992 and 1995 (entered basic in August of 1991). Honorably (medical) discharged a few months before the end of my 4 year contract due to a back injury sustained on a jump one night.

Not a soldier, but I've worked as a defense contractor for 10 years. Currently working MI at Ft. Sam Houston, TX. Spent a year in Iraq at Camp Slayer last year.

I'm so glad to be out of Iraq...I feel for the soldiers who were out there getting paid about a tenth of what I was paid and had to put up with more sh#t.

Any soldier serving in a war should get much higher pay, and be well taken care of upon return. I'm glad that one of the few things Ron Paul thinks we should not cut spending on is the veterans.

Thanks for your courage guys. Those who fight wars and come back with a message of peace are the truest patriots in the country. Your world carries a lot of weight here back home, by putting yourselves in harms way and then speaking out to the homeland, it's the number one reason people are waking up right now.

The neocon's who support the war, speak badly about soldiers who speak out against it, and sit idly by while our people fight endlessly for their political agenda's will get theirs one day. Yes we are looking at you, Sean and Rush.

Let's get Ron Paul elected so we can return to values worth being proud of here at home, and have people who believe in these values running the country again.
Liberty, prosperity, and peace!

My dad was a Navy pilot during the Korean War and he only joined the Navy because they were getting ready to draft him into the Army. He always told me if I joined the service not to be in the Army or Marines because they are thrown into the worst situations. He was a strong advocate of the idea that the income tax was unconstitutional. He passed away a year ago, but I'm pretty sure if he was around now and had fair access to the different candidates' positions that he would support Ron Paul.

On the phony soldiers thing, this whole time I'm thinking Rush has no room at all to call anyone else "phony".

for the disabled vets on here did you ever think of getting together all disabled vets and starting up a "Disabled Vets For Ron Paul" Group. NOW THAT would get some MAJOR attention. no one else that is running has a group like that

Former Marine, 92'-98'. Helicopter mechanic. I even worked for Dyncorps when I got out for 2 years. I dislike calling myself a veteran though, somehow I managed to serve 6 whole years in between major wars. I do miss it though. Would have stayed in if retirement benefits weren't cut at the time. Aco 1/505th - 82nd Airborne Division - Fought in Afganistan

I was in 1/504 between 92 and 95. Started out in Delta company for a year, moved to Alpha company for a year and spent the rest of the time in HQ after I was injured on a jump. No CIB for me - I got to Bragg right after the division redeployed from the 1st Gulf war, the Haiti invasion was scrubed, and I got out in 95.
