How Many Tea Parties are there?
All of the speeches this week, and most activists when you ask them say they want to keep the movement grassroots – no formal leaders or organizing. “The tea party movement has no leader, and let me tell you something, neither did the American revolution,” Phil Valentino, a talk radio host who spoke just before Sarah Palin, said to raucous cheers from the crowd of 1,000+. If today proved anything, they're getting their wish.

Tea Party Patriots say no to Tea Party Express (http://notpexpress.wordpress.com/statements/california-tea-party-patriots/)

Tea Party Express says no to Tea Party Nation:
"With Tea Party Patriots we have three core values: fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government and free markets," Jenny Beth Martin, a co-founder of Tea Party Patriots, explained to moderator John Dickerson.

Her group voiced concern over the more than $500 entrance fee the Tea Party Nation charged this weekend to host Palin, who's speaking fee was reported to be $100,000. Tea Party Nation said the convention hosted by a different "tea party" organization veered away from the core values of the grassroots movement.

The Tea Party Nation has it's headquarters in The Republican Party offices, and is believed to be an attempt by the Republican Party to take over the movement. Many Tea Party organizations boycotted the Nashville Tea Party event put on by Tea Party Nation saying "it is not what we are about."

It's all just a NeoCon mess now... hence the newly coined term TeoCon.

Ah...but remember...not all Tea Parties are the same, and not all Tea Partiers are the same. Many Tea Parties are made up of Independents, Constitutionalists, Conservatives, Libertarians, and even some Liberals, and are education based.

Some areas of the Country are in need of leaders.

We really need to pull in more groups in order to form a coalition for Ron Paul this next time around. This tea-party alliance I believe is a positive for these next elections, as the issues are focused heavily on fiscal conservativism.

A focus on bringing in more Goldwater conservatives and convincing those social conservatives to adopt a Federalist approach. In that case, at least at the Federal Level, neither group violates their principles.

Sincerely,
