Thread title fail. There's nothing on Newsmax to suggest Murtha advocated "slavery". Instead there's a lot of talk about how Murtha grew to be against the Iraq war. I guess that's become unimportant to this movement. :(

The way I see that he supported slavery is that he expected the sheeple to have thier labor confiscated so he could spend it on whatever he wanted. For example The John Murtha Johnstown/Cambria County (Pennsylvania) Airport, the airport to nowhere.

It may not be the exact type of slavery that you were thinking of, but it is slavery by confiscation of labor.

Koz: Don't forget that Ron Paul supports earmarks also. (Yeah I know. He allocates them and then votes against the bills that their end.)

He will not soon be forgotten...................considering all of the pork that future generations will have to repay that this man is responsible for. I'm from western PA, this guy is a dime a dozen.
