That he would be around for a little bit, fighting for the cause of liberty.

I heard it, I just didn't get out of it that he was ruling out a 2012 run. "A little bit" certainly could still mean finishing one more term, and a run in 2012 before retiring. And most of his statements lately have leaned towards a run, not away from it. Additionally, there was Carol's comment recently that sounded like he would run if he is needed as well.
