Well - what a scumbag.

Yeah in my original post I said "What a snake" but decided to edit it out. He wouldn't endorse Rand until the establishment Republican (Palin) got behind him.

Greyson just sent out an e-mail today too with a list of endorsements and this guy was at the top. Apparently he is the Senate Majority Caucus Chairman from (Jefferson County)!!!!

Frankly I don't care what the reason why is, I'm glad he is dumping Grayson and supporting Rand Paul.

It wouldn't be good for his career to have a history of not supporting one of his state's Republican US Senators.

We are in this election to win. I am not going to waste time attacking anyone who endorses Rand Paul for whatever imperfections they have. I am going to thank them for their support and welcome them to our side.

+1

(just keep in the back of your mind mind that we have no proof that he is reliably Pro-Rand... but keep it quiet, he endorsed Rand and we should be thankful)

This is pretty peculiar... Dan Seum was sitting not far from us at the Rally for the Republicans. Why would his endorsement of Treyson come out today and then change? Perhaps he agreed to it earlier and Treyson just now posted it.... it's still really weird. You wouldn't think someone would just change it like that.

In any case, I know Dan Seum is a friend of some high profile Ron Paul supporters in the state. He's also been one to identify himself with the tea party.

Whatever is going on behind the scenes, it's a great endorsement! Talk about gathering momentum...

Seum, is a good one. Do not cast stones at this one. He has been friendly to the efforts of the liberty movement in Kentucky. The Palin endorsement is only timing. Seum is NOT being slimy on this one IMO.

If a person makes a decision on incomplete information or wrong assumptions, then why would it be wrong to reform opinions and conclusions based on new information? I applaud his decision ! Good man ! Anyone else sitting on the tracks still has time to get on the train !

Gotta love seeing how easily you can predict politicians' actions... they go with the wind.

It's nice to see for the first time the wind blowing in our direction.

he was at the Rally, so I assume this isnt because of Palin.. could be wrong..

Not true. This is the turning point where the Republican establishment starts supporting Rand Paul. Expect more house and state senate members to jump off the Grayson sinking ship.

Yes. He is friendly to the movement and has helped Take back Kentucky on a lot of legislation.

I guess its possible Trey had been tallying people up for a few months, but hadn't checked in with everyone before issuing the release to make sure they were still on board. Hubris on Team Grayson's part?

Oh man --- I didn't even think of that. Talk about foot-in-mouth syndrome for ole Nate Hodson today.
