I'm working with another member of my meetup group to target New Hampshire college students with online advertisements (Facebook Flyers (http://www.facebook.com/flyers/create.php?)).
The flyers will be stressing the need for Democrats to switch their party affiliation by October 12th, and when clicked, will direct them to a special page at ronpaulnewengland.com (http://www.ronpaulnewengland.com/index.php/ron-paul-primer/facebook-flyer-campaign/unh) where they can learn how.

Attached below are two different versions of the flyer that we plan on running for 7 days starting tonight. So far we have enough funds to cover this first run (targeting UNH), but we will need more money to target additional colleges and universities in the future.

If you would like to contribute to this effort, please donate here: http://ronpaulnewengland.chipin.com/ron-paul-facebook-flyers

Thank You!!

It's possible if we have enough money!

(although, personally, I'm not convinced of the effectiveness of Facebook flyers. I would personally use that money to buy a crapload of Ron Paul material and hand it out to people)

We are giving this a try and will base further advertisements on the effectiveness of this one. (We can view how many clicks and impressions we get).

hey, what kind of click through rate are you getting?

i proposed this idea a few days ago: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=21583

have you contacted facebook to see if it's within the advertising guidelines?

Really bad click rate so far, lol: 0 clicks and 1,322 impressions per Flyer over 24 hours.

But it is free advertising because you only pay for clicks!

did you max out the keyword list? that seemed to help mine

plus, they go really strong for the first day or two and then almost completely stop, so i'd suggest deleting and resubmitting the ad after a couple days... even make consecutive ads to get more hits

We are targeting all students on the University of New Hampshire network. Wouldn't adding keywords decrease the # of impressions?
