I can donate about 100$-150$ per paycheck to the RP campaign, that's the max. But, I've never done or even cared about politics until 5 months ago, when I learned of RP.

The idea of spending a large portion of my money toward politics doesn't quite appeal to me. I'm sure it doesn't appeal to many of you guys either. So here's my question

How many of you guys donate the max amount off the top of your paycheck every time? Do you donate only when you feel like it or it's for a 'fun' cause? Or are you unequivocally committed and commit the solid max % per paycheck? All nonsense aside, you know what the most you can commit to is. Do you do it?

I'm starting to warm to the idea...

btw I haven't bought CDs in months, something I'm dying to do. I have a few options

- Buy CDs and an external HD for my music and things
- Buy a plane ticket and fly out to LA and take a vacation to make my world much smoother and happier
- Donate to RP and not do any of the above.

I sincerely believe that if Ron Paul can raise 12 Million this quarter, he will FINALLY be a FRONT RUNNER and a REAL CONTENDER.

My finances recently received a huge boost, so I'm going to be donating ALOT more money, as I just paid off all of my credit card and other debt.

I should have about $800 per month in liquid cash after all expenses, so I'm going to donate 50% of it monthly. Mostly to the campaign, but some to other projects here, etc.

actually, 10 million would be pretty good considering the rest of the pack gets less money every quarter.
and as for myself, I don't have a job or money yet so I use the power of WORDS

My wife and I were lucky enough to be able to contribute the entire $4600. Some for 2Q, some for 3Q.

I am so passionate about Ron Paul that I donated the full amount back in March or April using a credit card. I couldn't afford it and probably shouldn't have for my own finances, but that way I was able to get him the money much earlier than otherwise possible. I have about $1,000 bucks left of that to pay off, but I know the early money is always more important in political elections. Mainly because of the MSM & press factor.

I'll be doing that this month. I'm working on getting two others to make a similar commitment, although they might only go in for 1k.

I give $100 a week, so after taxes I keep 50% of my paycheck. But hey, my CoL is low, so I can afford it. And when I can stop paying the income tax and for other people's SS, I'll make the money back in a couple months. It's a really good investment for a working student ^^

Committment?

Here is a list of some purchases I have put off to help the campaign

http://www.samsontech.com/products/productpage.cfm?prodID=1901

I have also had to write off an "85 VW Westphalia" that blew up during my walk and have moved from Hawaii to more actively pursue political goals. I have done RP walks in 2 states, campaigned in 4 and will soon add 11 more. I am well on my way to reaching clubmax and spending thousands on our upcoming ride.

Others are doing more...

We all need to up our committment, up our participation, up our donations.

We all need to do all we can, as often as we can.

It is worth it.

For me, getting Ron Paul elected President is less important than God or family, but more important than getting my PhD.
