I'm thinking of writing a letter to the editor and I want your opion.

As a libertarian in the crazy world we live, I thought I’d give both parties a little idea of what seen from sidelens.

Both sides want what’s best for America.

Both sides have the same goal.

Both sides hate the hold corporate power has.

Both sides get played by the media. When they call them “marginal candidate X” and “top tier candidate Y” it doesn’t matter what X or Y said, the message has been sent.

Both sides get caught up with the emotions of liking a candidate and forget to investigate the candidate.

Both sides investigate the other sides candidate

Both sides treat this as a football game with winners in losers. Unfortunately none of us ever win.

Both sides leaders use the following: The worse it is for the people, the more noble it has to be sold. War and the bailouts are prime examples.

Both sides failed to see the risks in our economy until it was in full swing.

Both sides leaders lied about not seeing it.

Both sides only see the corruption in the other side

Both sides ignore a lot and nitpick a lot.

Both sides blame the other side when bad happens.

Both sides scream, “pay as we go” when the other party has power.

Both sides are racist, and both sides are right.

Both sides are a little pissed right now.

Both sides are pro-choice, just depends on what the “choice” is we’re talking about.

Both sides pundits and personalities on TV and radio are out to lunch. They are more concerned with distracting you by pissing you off about the other party than actually informing you.

Both sides blame the other side when an institution fails us. But neither side blames the institution itself.

Both sides always fix a problem with giving them more power.

Both sides can, will and have justified force over freedom.

Both sides convinced their followers it was the right thing to do.

Both sides followers defended that force.

Both sides leaders are more concerned with “I” than “you”.

Both sides will not make a decision to help millions when the argument gives them more power.

Both sides leaders divide the America while bragging about being bi-partisan.

Both sides leaders focus more on making you dependent on them, than you dependent on yourself.

Both sides have politicians.

Both sides have being taught the other side is the problem.

Both sides can’t understand what the other side is thinking.

Both sides look down at the other side.

Both sides will not agree with everything on this list.

Both sides have proven that two sides don’t fit every American.

That is my take on America right now.

Errors corrected, slight edits made :) I am at work so I don't have time for a proper mark-up.

As a libertarian in the crazy world in which we live, I thought I’d give both parties a little idea of the view from sidelines:

Both sides want what’s best for America.

Both sides have the same goal.

Both sides hate the hold corporate power has.

Both sides get played by the media. When they call them “marginal candidate X” and “top tier candidate Y,” it doesn’t matter what X or Y said; the message has been sent.

Both sides get caught up with the emotions of liking a candidate and forget to investigate the candidate. [“Investigating” could also be “investigating” their social or personal life.]

Both sides investigate the other sides candidate. [contradicts the previous point]

Both sides treat this as a football game with winners and losers. Unfortunately none of us ever wins.

Both sides’ leaders use the following: The worse it is for the people, the more noble it has to be sold. War and the bailouts are prime examples. [I don’t understand what you mean here]

Both sides failed to see the risks in our economy until it was in full swing.

Both sides’ leaders lied about not seeing it.

Both sides only see the corruption in the other side.

Both sides ignore and nitpick a lot.

Both sides blame the other side when bad things happen.

Both sides scream “pay as we go” when the other party has power.

Both sides are racist, and both sides are right. [Vague and possibly divisive]

Both sides are a little pissed right now. [“Pissed” is probably not going to print in an editorial]

Both sides are pro-choice, just depends on what “choice” we’re talking about.

Both sides’ pundits and personalities on TV and radio are out to lunch. They are more concerned with distracting you by pissing you off about the other party than actually informing you. [Again with the “pissing”!]

Both sides blame the other side when an institution fails us. Neither side blames the institution itself.

Both sides attempt to fix a problem by granting it more power.

Both sides can, will and have justified force over freedom.

Both sides convinced their followers it was the right thing to do.

Both sides’ followers defended that force.

Both sides’ leaders are more concerned with “I” than “you”.

Both sides will not make a decision to help millions when the alternative is to help themselves.

Both sides’ leaders divide America while bragging about being bi-partisan.

Both sides’ leaders focus more on making you dependent on them, than independent.
[Both sides should realize the Government should be dependent on the People for power, and not just money.]

Both sides have politicians.

Both sides have been taught the other side is the problem.

Both sides refuse to understand what the other side is thinking.

Both sides look down at the other side.

Both sides will not agree with everything on this list.

Both sides have proven that two sides don’t fit every American.

That is my take on America right now.
