Gun Owners of America?

Has anyone in the Kokesh campaign approached Gun Owners of America to see if they would be willing to give Adam an an endorsement?

I know the GOA as an organization is a big fan of Ron Paul - heck, they have a quote from RP on their front page in which they are hailed as "The only no-compromise gun lobby in Washington D.C."

Given that Adam has received Ron Paul's endorsement, it seems like the GOA might be persuaded to throw some support Adam's way.

I do know the GOA can be fierce in their support of a candidate, and unlike the NRA they don't drag their feet and try to make sure the candidate has the election in the bag before granting an endorsement.

As you know, I'm spinning this off from my post in the Medina thread... I had not really thought about it before, but the GOA is really pretty effective at throwing weight behind endorsements. I know (because I've received their emails) that they have done it for some of the "big boys" including lots of U.S. Senate races.

I believe they've already endorsed Rand Paul.

I don't see whey they can't endorse an entire field of Liberty candidates who ALL take a solid Constitutional stand on the Second Amendment. Even if the GOA just sends out a single email with an endorsed list of candidates and a message of "pick one or two and give them your support" I would think it could make a huge difference for at least a few of our Liberty candidates...

I'm going to try writing and/or calling them tomorrow to suggest this, and I would encourage everyone else to do the same. If they just get one or two calls, it will be easy to blow off. If there are a couple of hundred calls, we might just be able to get some action on this.

Gun Owners of America should endorse Adam. It would be good for their organization.
