I'm shocked. It was in the Austin American-Statesman.

Nice find. :)

Good article. Here is the video referenced. A must see for anyone that hasn't seen it.

YouTube - Debra Medina speaks about gun rights and self defense (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ET4H8s6YxIM)

So long as there's this aura around guns that merely being within 20 feet of one (Unless carried by a police officer, of course, being far more competent than any of us could ever hope to be) will instill you with an unstoppable desire to murder, these sorts of, 'I'm scared! She's crazy!' comments will continue. A lawful gun owner is probably the last person you should be afraid of.

That is surprising for the Statesman.

guns are a scary thing...

thanks for posting this... I was not aware of Medina's pro-gun stance and will no longer be pulling for her to be our next Governor...

I once saw a .22 pistol open a glove-box, hop out a car window and shoot an infant... you can see why I do not like guns...

LOL, I've never seen my Glock do anything but just sit around waiting for me to make it do something.

Whoever had that .22 must have had one heck of a trainer. Seems like that would have been like training a stick to stand up when commanded to do so. :D

Well, there are a lot of children in schools with sticks containing a graphite core. We must disarm all of those children immediately! :D

Snarky, but for the Statesman, I concur, not bad.
